MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation Review

A while ago I bought the MAC studio fix fluid foundation. I had heard a lot of good things about this foundation and I wanted to try it. It was a bit pricey for me, it costs 26.50.

My initial reaction was that I hated it. It made my skin flake out look uneven even with moisturizer. So I went to return it. Well I talked to a lady that worked there and told her my problem and she said that I just have dry flaky skin that gets in the way of my foundation. She gave me a sample of a microfine refinisher, which btw is amazing stuff in itself.

I tried it again after using the refinisher and it made my skin look flawless. It is a buildable foundation. It is a full coverage foundation so if you want to use it like a tinted moisturizer I mix a little with my moisturizer and apply it to my face.

The brush I use is MAC's 188 brush. It makes my skin look flawless, even with my red cheeks. After I use the 188, I use the Essence of Beauty blender brush and buff it out.

All together I like the foundation and I think it's great. I don't know if this is my holy grail yet. I'm not a professional so I don't know much. But this foundation is pretty good

How about either Taylor or Zac Hanson. Even though both are married I can still dream!

Yes, but he lives 2 hours away and we don't really celebrate vday.

6. Which restaurant would you prefer for a valentines date? Cheese Cake Factory or Ruby's?

I have been wanting to go to the Cheese Cake Factory for a very long time.

Hair down. I feel more comfortable with my hair down, plus I have a grey hairs on the side of my head so it keeps them covered. :)

10 Things about me!

1. I have a huge love for animals. I can't stand to see an animal suffer, I'd rather see a human suffer. Sad but true.

The perfect manicure

For a person who washes dishes at home and types on the computer a lot I know how hard that can be on your manicure. All you need to get the perfect manicure that will have your nails lasting over a week is an orange stick, a 4 sided nail buffer, cuticle oil, nail polish remover and your favorite nail polish.

1. Put cuticle oil on your cuticles and massage it in. Once their nice and soft push them back with an orange stick.

2. Use the 4 sided buffer to buff your nail out in the order it says.

3. Use the fingernail polish remover to get any excess oil off so when you put your nail polish on it will adhere straight to your nails. Having excess oil on your nails will not let the polish stick to it.

4. No need for a base coat, just put two coats of your favorite polish and let dry.

In's and Outs

In's and Out's is a few of the things that I'm liking right now and a few things that I'm not liking.

In's

My TV shows: Bones, The Big Bang Theory, Supernatural, Smallville and Hellcats. Definitely brighten up my week.

Yankee Candle candles. I LOVE Christmas Cupcake even though it's not Christmas anymore. It has a strong frosting scent.

Warm weather. We had one day of really nice warm weather...I can't wait for spring to get here.

Valentine's Day. Oh yeah! The boyfriend is coming up the day before so I get to finally spend some time with him.

Painting my nails! I have had the urge to paint my nails but I'm using a growth system to help them grow out. Favorite polish right now is Thanks so muchness by OPI.

Outs:

Being jobless. With that comes with no money and nothing to do. I hate it.

Long distance relationships. They suck but with the right guy their kinda worth it. End of story.

Dirty socks. I know it's weird, but I hate having dirty socks on. I have to change mine twice a day because I walk around in socks.

Cleaning/organizing. I feel like I have to do that every other day. Gets kind of repetitive and annoying. I need to become a neat freak.
